Advent spiral and Christmas figures
The Advent spiral and Christmas figures are tools drawn from the spirit of Waldorf pedagogy, which help illustrate the advent period and the coming of Christmas. The shape of the spiral symbolizes a kind of endless circle, which refers to the passage of time and the constant change of life. The spiral is made of wood, and a tea candle is placed on it, which is lit every week of Advent. With this act, they illustrate the progress of the Advent season as we get closer to Christmas. The figures, which are placed in the spiral, represent significant events or symbols related to Christmas, for example angels, stars and pine trees. These objects help you to experience the atmosphere of anticipation during the Advent period and to reflect on the approach of the holiday together with the lighting of the Advent candles.
